Quickstart
Open the terminal, pick a market and size a trade in a few minutes. No account is needed to start.
This walkthrough takes you from the landing page to a sized trade. You can follow it without a wallet. Steps 5 and 6 are optional.
Before you begin#
You need a modern desktop or mobile browser. To link an account and trade later you will also want a browser wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby, but the terminal is fully readable without one.
Your first trade#
- Open the terminal. Choose Launch app on the home page. The terminal opens on the options chain.
- Pick a market. Use the underlying menu at the top of the chain, or open Markets to search every instrument. Choose an expiry from the tabs.
- Select a contract. Click an ask price to start a buy, or a bid price to start a sell. The order ticket fills in with the contract and a limit price.
- Size it and read the risk. Type an amount. The Analysis panel shows max loss, break-even and a payoff curve for exactly that size. Switch to Greeks for delta, gamma, theta and vega.
- Connect a wallet (optional). Choose Connect in the top bar and pick your wallet. See Connect a wallet.
- Trade in the trading app. Once a wallet is connected and the order is valid, the ticket button reads Open trading app. It opens the same market there, where you place and sign the order yourself.
