Troubleshooting
Fixes for connection problems, empty tables, wallet and linking errors and layout quirks.

Start with the quick checks, then find your symptom below.
Quick checks#
- Look at the status bar at the bottom of the terminal. It should say Live.
- Refresh the page.
- Open the display menu and choose Reset layout & columns.
- Try another browser or turn off extensions that rewrite pages.
Data#
"Couldn't reach the market feed"#
The terminal could not open its connection. Choose Try again. If it keeps failing, check your internet connection, and whether a VPN, firewall or content blocker is blocking WebSocket connections. The status bar will say Reconnecting… while Detion keeps trying in the background.
The status bar stays on "Connecting…" or "Reconnecting…"#
The same causes apply. If you recently changed network, wait a few seconds. If you are on a corporate network, WebSocket traffic may be blocked.
"Couldn't load this expiry"#
The chain could not fetch contracts for that expiry. Choose Retry, or pick another expiry tab and come back.
Prices show dashes#
A dash means a value is missing or does not apply. Some contracts have no quote on one side, so the bid or ask price is blank. Funding is blank for underlyings with no perp. If everything is blank, check the connection.
Numbers do not match the trading app#
Detion's fee, margin and "today" curve values are estimates, and prices move every second. Confirm what you see in the trading app before you sign.
Wallet#
"No browser wallet found"#
Install an Ethereum browser wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby, then refresh and reopen the wallet dialog. If you have one installed, make sure it is enabled for this site.
"Connection request was cancelled"#
You dismissed the prompt in your wallet. Open Connect Wallet and try again.
The wallet does not reconnect on its own#
Detion can only reconnect silently if your wallet still has the site approved. Connect again from the top bar.
Linking your account#
"Enter a valid wallet address"#
The address must start with 0x and have 40 characters after it. Use the trading account address from the trading app under Account, not your browser wallet address.
"Signature request was cancelled"#
Approve the signature in your wallet. Check that your wallet is unlocked and on the account you connected.
"Session ended. Sign again to reconnect."#
The read-only session lost its connection. Open the wallet menu, choose Link trading account and sign again.
My balances and positions are empty#
Make sure you linked your trading account address and not your browser wallet address. If the account is new or has no deposits, the tables are empty by design.
Layout#
The ticket is missing#
On screens 1100 pixels wide and below, the ticket is in a bottom sheet. Tap the Trade bar above the status bar to open it.
Some chain columns are gone#
On screens 700 pixels wide and below, the chain shows only bid, mark and ask. On wider screens, open the column picker and check that the columns you want are on.
The sidebar is hidden#
Use the panel button at the left of the top bar. On narrow screens it opens as a drawer.
Still stuck?#
Clear this site's data in your browser settings and reload. That resets Detion's stored preferences, the remembered wallet and the remembered account address. Your funds are never affected, because Detion never holds them.
